Who we are, what this website collects, and how to reach us about information we hold in connection with a drainage investigation.
Who is responsible
Water & Environmental Resource Management Limited is the data controller for information it holds. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 03482055, with our registered office at 10 Western Road, Romford, Essex, RM1 3JT.

What this website collects
This site is a set of plain pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking, and has no forms, so nothing you do here is recorded by us or used to identify you.
Two things happen automatically, as they do on most websites:
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including the IP address making the request, for security and reliability.
- Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
Information from a drainage investigation
If we have contacted you about a misconnection investigation, we hold information relating to your property so we can carry out and report on that work for the water company we are acting for. This is separate from the website and is handled as part of the investigation itself.
If you want to know what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to correct something, contact the office and we will help. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
A note on people contacting you
We will never ask you for bank details or payment over the phone. If you are unsure whether a caller or visitor is genuinely from WERM, please phone the office on 01708 728333 and check before going any further.
